"Kate Usher & the Sturdy Souls are a soul-pop-rock duo and band formed in Montauk, New York. Led by lead singer Kate Usher & multi-instrumentalist, Kevin Angiulo, the group’s music & image reflects the beach town they grew up in. The group opened separately for Matisyahu and Paul Simon this past summer & performs a summer residency at renowned Hamptons club, the Surf Lodge. A lovable acoustic duo that leads into a high-energy full band show, the group’s performance has been compared to a mix of John Mayer, Norah Jones, & Fleetwood Mac. The group released their debut EP "Circles" in Spring 2018 and will be releasing a follow - up EP in Dec 2018. This winter the group will be recording their debut full length album while performing shows and festivals across the U.S."
